Welcome to New Generation Taekwondo Club (NGTC). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website at newgentkd.com and any services, classes, or programmes we offer. By accessing our website, booking a class, or participating in any NGTC service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Services Provided
NGTC offers the following services:
- Group Taekwondo Classes: Regular weekly classes for children, teens, and adults at our venue in Putney, South West London.
- After-School Programmes: Taekwondo clubs delivered at partner schools, including Sacred Heart Roehampton.
- 1-to-1 Private Sessions: Individualised training sessions tailored to your goals and schedule.
- Trial Classes: Free first session for new students to experience our teaching style and facilities.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of significant changes where possible.
3. Eligibility
Our services are available to individuals of all ages, subject to the following requirements:
- Minors (under 18): Must have parental or guardian consent to participate. A parent or guardian must complete registration and accept these Terms on the minor's behalf.
- Accurate Information: You must provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration and booking. Failure to do so may result in cancellation of your booking or membership.
- Medical Disclosure: You must disclose any relevant injuries, medical conditions, or health concerns that may affect your participation. NGTC reserves the right to request medical clearance before participation.

Payment Terms
- Monthly Memberships: Fees are typically charged monthly in advance. Payment terms will be confirmed at the time of booking.
- Class Passes: Some programmes may offer class passes or term-based payment options.
- Trial Sessions: First sessions are free for new students. Subsequent sessions require payment or membership enrolment.
- Payment Methods: We accept payment via methods specified at booking (e.g., bank transfer, cash, or other agreed methods).
Refunds & Cancellations
- Missed Sessions: Missed classes are generally non-refundable unless NGTC cancels the session due to circumstances within our control (e.g., coach unavailability, venue closure).
- Refunds: Refund eligibility will be assessed on a case-by-case basis and communicated at the time of cancellation. Refunds, where applicable, may take up to 14 working days to process.
- NGTC Cancellations: If we cancel a class or service, we will offer a make-up session, credit, or full refund at your discretion.
5. Trial Sessions
Trial sessions are subject to availability and must be booked in advance. Please note:
- Trial sessions are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
- We may require advance notice (typically 24-48 hours) to confirm your trial slot.
- If you need to cancel or reschedule a trial session, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance so we can offer the slot to another student.
- Repeated no-shows for trial sessions may result in us declining future trial requests.
- Following your trial, you will have the opportunity to enrol in regular classes if spaces are available.
6. Membership & Cancellation
Membership Renewal
Memberships typically renew automatically unless cancelled in accordance with the notice period specified at enrolment (typically 14 or 30 days' notice).
Cancellation Policy
- To cancel your membership, you must provide written notice via email to info@newgentkd.com or in person.
- The required notice period (usually 14 or 30 days) will be specified in your membership agreement.
- Memberships are non-transferable to another person.
- Fees paid for the current period are generally non-refundable unless otherwise agreed.
7. Code of Conduct
All students, parents, and visitors are expected to follow our code of conduct:
- Respect: Treat instructors, fellow students, and staff with respect and courtesy at all times.
- Safety: Follow all safety instructions and guidelines. Report any unsafe conditions or behaviour immediately.
- Appropriate Attire: Wear appropriate Taekwondo uniform (dobok) or suitable athletic clothing as directed by instructors. Remove jewellery and secure long hair.
- Zero Tolerance: Bullying, harassment, discrimination, or any form of abusive behaviour is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate removal from classes and termination of membership.
- Punctuality: Arrive on time for classes. Late arrivals may not be permitted to join for safety reasons.
- Property: Respect our venue, equipment, and facilities. Any damage caused by negligence may result in charges for repair or replacement.
Violation of the code of conduct may result in warnings, suspension, or permanent termination of membership without refund.
8. Liability & Safety
Participation at Your Own Risk
Participation in Taekwondo classes and related activities involves inherent risks of physical injury. By participating, you acknowledge and accept that:
- You participate at your own risk.
- NGTC, its instructors, staff, and venue partners are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage that may occur during participation, except where such injury or loss results from proven negligence on our part.
- You are responsible for ensuring you are physically fit and healthy enough to participate. Consult a medical professional if you have any concerns.
Health & Injury Disclosure
- You must disclose any injuries, medical conditions, or health issues that may affect your participation before joining classes.
- NGTC may require medical clearance before allowing participation in certain activities.
- If you sustain an injury during class, notify an instructor immediately.
Safety Measures
NGTC takes reasonable precautions to ensure a safe training environment, including:
- Qualified and insured instructors
- Appropriate training equipment and safety mats
- Clear instruction on proper techniques and safety protocols
- Supervised training sessions
9. Intellectual Property
All content on the NGTC website and in our classes, including but not limited to:
- Text, images, logos, graphics, and photographs
- Training materials, curriculum, and teaching methods
- Website design and code

Upon termination, your right to use our services will cease immediately. You remain responsible for any fees owed up to the date of termination.

NGTC may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by:
